Dhikr can be done silently or aloud, individually or collectively, at any time or place.

Dhikr has many benefits for Muslims, such as increasing faith, gratitude, peace, and happiness. Dhikr also protects from evil, sins, and distractions. - La ilaha illa Allah (There is no god but Allah)

- Astaghfirullah (I seek forgiveness from Allah)

- La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is no power or strength except with Allah)

- HasbunAllah wa ni'mal wakeel (Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best disposer of affairs)

What is Laylat al-Qadr and Why is it Important?

Laylat al-Qadr, or the Night of Power, is the night when Muslims believe the Quran was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) through the angel Gabriel ( Jibrīl ). It is believed to have taken place on one of the final 10 nights of Ramadan in 610 CE, though the exact night is unclear. The date of the annual commemoration thus varies throughout the Islamic world but is most commonly observed on the 23rd night of Ramadan for Shiʿi Muslims and on the 27th for Sunni Muslims.

Laylat al-Qadr is considered to be the most blessed and sacred night of the year, as it is better than a thousand months of worship. According to a hadith narrated by Abu Huraira, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever spends Laylat al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, will be forgiven his previous sins." [Sahih al-Bukhari]

Laylat al-Qadr is also a night of destiny, as it is when Allah decrees the affairs of His creation for the next year. According to a hadith narrated by Aisha, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The angels descend on Laylat al-Qadr with Allah's permission and with every decree." [Sahih Muslim]

Laylat al-Qadr is therefore a night of worship, forgiveness, and guidance. Muslims seek to attain Allah's mercy and favor by performing extra prayers, reciting the Quran, making supplications, and asking for forgiveness. Muslims also seek to know their destiny and ask Allah for good in this world and in the hereafter.

What is Hadith and Why is it Important?

Hadith means a saying or a report of what Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, said or did or approved or disapproved. Hadith are also the collective body of traditions or the way of life based on Muhammad's teachings and practices and the Quran. Hadith are used by Muslims to understand the Quran and Islamic law.

Hadith are important for Muslims because they provide guidance and inspiration for various aspects of their faith and life. Hadith are also a source of authority and authenticity for Islamic doctrines and rulings. Hadith are also a means of preserving and transmitting the legacy and example of Muhammad, whom Muslims consider to be the best model of human conduct.

Hadith are classified into different categories based on their reliability and authenticity. The most reliable and authentic hadith are called sahih (sound), followed by hasan (good), da'if (weak), and mawdu' (fabricated). The authenticity of hadith depends on various factors, such as the chain of narrators ( isnad ), the text of the report ( matn ), the agreement with other sources, and the soundness of the narrator's memory and character.

Hadith are collected and compiled in various books by different scholars and compilers. Some of the most famous and widely accepted collections of hadith are:

- Sahih al-Bukhari: A collection of about 7,000 hadith by Imam al-Bukhari (d. 870 CE), considered to be the most authentic collection of hadith by Sunni Muslims.
